The 32nd annual Dally in the Alley took place on Saturday, September 12, 2009. This celebration is a fascinating amalgam of music festival, food fair and carnival. It is held every year on the Saturday after Labor Day in the alley and streets bounded by Forest, Hancock, Second and Third streets in mid-town Detroit. The event is sponsored by the North Cass Community Union (NCCU), which disburses proceeds into many community-centered programs.
